what is your most hated household and non household chore?
Q. I am procrastinating on doing laundry, I am ok with it once I get started but I just hate it !!! My most hated NON household chore is going to get gas for my car. I can't stand the few minutes it take to stand there and pump the black gold.
Asked by Mrs M - Mon Jan 4 14:43:17 2010 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Haha! Laundry is the neverending story,...unless you do it all in your birthday suit! Cleaning the toilet is a necessary evil & in one's own best health interest. Having to fill the gas tank is a nuisance, since it most often has to be done when one is busiest on the go. But the truly purposeless chore is old-fashioned dry dusting! Feather dusters are the worst inventions ever. To remove a coat of dust in such a way that it is tossed back into the atmosphere to be breathed in and then resettle is such a waste of time! The best thing to do is remove coats of dust with a damp fabric to which the particles can attach and then be washed away, wouldn't you agree?

Which household chore do you put off until it can no longer be ignored?
Q. Do you let your dishes pile up? Do you ignore the dirty laundry? What household task do you ignore as long as you possibly can? I try to avoid scrubbing the tub for as long as I can.
Asked by Julie6962 - Thu Sep 4 11:54:04 2008 - - 15 Answers - 0 Comments
A. OMG - my shower was FOUL. I have a high tolerance for "ick," and this was gross. I spent the better part of Saturday morning scrubbing it. Part of the problem is that I climb in without contact lenses, so I don't get the full picture of the nasty buildup (soap, mildew, hair, and a little bit of rust from the hinges that makes it all a divine puke-inducing pink).

What is the absolute worst household chore?
Q. For me, it has to be putting the laundry away.
Asked by R.I.P. - Sat Jul 8 08:06:22 2006 - - 20 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The chore I hate the most is pulling slimey hair out the the bathtub drain, followed by cleaning the walls of a shower stall. It's so hard to rinse the cleanser off the walls, when the shower head only moves a little bit each way, and you end up with water dripping down your arms.

A. I break it down into non-overwhelming steps, write down the steps and then start knocking them out!! It feels good to cross off each part of the task as you complete it. Music helps.

Q. Since I stopped working outside the home, it's laundry! Does it ever get done? aagh!! Thanks, fellow sufferers.
Asked by kimgoddess - Sun Apr 9 09:01:58 2006 - - 17 Answers - 0 Comments
A. laundry, vaccuuming and dusting. laundry takes too long, so it seems like its never done, the vaccuum cause it gets dirty again too quickly, and dusting because it doesnt look like youve done anything, unless you walk over to the mantle and look at it, you dont even notice it. i like to unload the dishwasher, wash dishes, and sweep, mostly because nobody else wants to do it, but also because i have a boring life.

The others I can do at my own pace but cooking and trying to figure out what to cook for 2 since all 5 children are gone is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I cook way to much of most things and always feel like I have only cooked that same exact meal 1000 times, ( which I proubly have)! Terri
