Best and biggest shopping center? Computer/Clothing?
Q. Hi, I will be living at the Fisherman's Wharf, directly beneath the Anchorage Shopping Center. Is this a good place for computer accessories and sport clothing or would you recommend another place? Thanks!

A. I'd recommend taking the cable car over the hill. You'll have access to the Union Square stores and the Westfield Mall. Comp USA is around there, as is the Apple store.

What should I wear?
Q. I'm finally going back to California to be with my husband again. I had to stay with my mom here in Anchorage for a couple of months because she has been very ill, but now that she is feeling better, I'm going back home. I wanted to dress nice for my husband, but I want to wear clothing and accessories that would not be a hassle to me when I go through security. So any tips / suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much.

A. a simple wrap dress with a pair of ballet flats is a great look, and the flat are easy to slip on and off for security...just toss your accessories in your purse and toss them on just before you land - no and off through the detectors. Take a look on overstock.com - they have some great deals on dresses!!

A. 1 - If he's a swimmer he would know the inherent dangers in entering unknown water. I wouldn't do it, whereas a less competent swimmer might. I'd risk my own life to save my own child, would I for someone elses? Probably not. Summon help and attempt what you've been taught, reach or throw something that can be clung onto. You don't enter cold, unknown water without careful thought. 2 - The good Samaritan laws indemnify a rescuer against criminal or civil fault if what he attempts goes wrong, it doesn't require him to render assistance. You can't be prosecuted for anything for standing back if someone says "I've got a gun" the question is stupid, every police force in the world the advice is to comply and not get yourself shot.
